Catherine Theresa Hutchens

Catherine Theresa "Kitty" Hutchens died May 20, 2021 at her home. Born October 15, 1938 in Somerset she is the daughter of Steve and Florence (Lepley) Jano. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold E. Hutchens who died January 15, 2013, grandson Bradley Aultz, brothers, Clyde and Steve Jano, and sister Helen. Survived by her children Jeffrey H. Hutchens and wife Erica of Somerset, Gina Stanga and husband James of Sipesville, Timothy E. Hutchens and girlfriend Barb of Friedens, grandchildren; Brianna D. "Breezie" Aultz, TimothyE. Hutchens Jr., Colten J. Hutchens and wife Lexi, and Chantelle F. Hutchens and boyfriend Patrick, sisters and brothers; Betty Shaulis and husband Fred of Colorado Springs, Joe Jano and wife Donna, Tony Jano and wife Diana all of Sheep Ridge, Martha Webb and husband Bob if Berlin, Sue Webb and Theresa Fitzgerald and husband Bob all of Sheep Ridge. Kitty was a 1957 graduate of Somerset High School, she worked until her retirement as a drug counselor for Twin Lakes, she was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, she loved cooking, gardening, and helping those less fortunate. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, a funeral mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday with Father Angelo Patti Celebrant.
