Charlotte Mae Morocco, 81, of Somerset, died January 24, 2023 at UPMC Somerset Hospital. Born October 10, 1941 in Somerset, she is the daughter of the late Charles Franklin and Mae Elizabeth (Shaulis) Morocco. Survived by her sisters: Ann Becker of Somerset, Sue Louise Bowser and husband D. Gregory of Coeur D'Alene, ID, Elizabeth Maul and husband William of Friedens, and Donna Morocco of Somerset, also numerous nieces and nephews. Charlotte was a 1959 Graduate of Somerset High School, and a 1963 graduate with a BS from Shippensburg University and a 1966 graduate with a M.Ed. from Ohio University. She worked until her retirement as a Dean Emeritus with Simmons College in Boston, Mass. Charlotte enjoyed golfing, biking, bingo and playing slots. Friends received 12:00 noon-1 p.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. with Reverend Roy Burket officiating.
