Clarence Syrus Knopsnyder

Clarence Syrus Knopsnyder, 62, of Somerset, went to be with the Lord on February 1, 2022 at UPMC Magee Womens Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born October 5, 1959 in Somerset, he is the son of Clarence S. and Martha (Younkin) Knopsnyder. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Ricky Knopsnyder and sisters; Judy Struckoff, and Loretta White. Survived by his wife the former Amy Gene Stahl to whom he was married 35 years, children; Jenna Spicer of Ellicott City, MD, and Derrick Knopsnyder and wife Alana of Pittsburgh, grandchildren; Liam and Amelia, brothers and sister; Robert Knopsnyder and wife Connie of Boswell, Barry Knopsnyder and wife Diana of Berlin, John Knopsnyder of Rockwood, Charles Knopsnyder and wife Roxanne of Somerset, Michael Knopsnyder and wife Susan of Rockwood, and Amy Seifert and husband Kevin of Somerset, also father and mother in-laws Galen and Emma Gene Stahl of Rockwood, and brother and sister in-laws Mark and Becky Reckner of Somerset. Clarence was a 1978 graduate of Somerset High School, he worked as a custodian and dispatch laborer for Somerset REC, he was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, FOE in Somerset, and the Industrial Golf League. Clarence loved golfing and hunting. Friends received 9-11 a.m. Thursday February 10, 2022 at Grace United Methodist Church, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Reverend Eric Raygor officiating.
