Cora Faye Beabes

Cora Faye Beabes, 93, of Somerset, died November 8, 2023 at The Patriot. Born November 10, 1929 in Johnstown, she is the daughter of Clayton Henry and Bertha Irene (Spory) Keafer. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Guy Ellsworth Beabes, daughter Carol Ann Beabes, grandson Shaun C. Beabes, sisters, Ann Williams and Mabel Morrell, and brothers, Henry and Paul Keafer. Survived by her children, Ronald P. Beabes married to the former Pamela J. Zeigler of Somerset, Jeffrey A. Beabes married to the former Stephanie "Stevie" Blough of Johnstown, Lorie Ann Beabes of Euclid, OH, and Timothy L. Beabes married to the former Debra Shupe of Somerset, grandchildren, Justin and wife Andrea, Abraham and wife Madeline, Hannah and husband Christopher, and Emily, also great-grandchildren, Clayton, Declan, and Dallas. Cora was a 1946 graduate of Somerset High School, she had worked as a home health aide and also as a library aide for the Somerset County Library, she was also a member of Casebeer Lutheran Church. Friends received 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Vicar Allen Stump officiating.
