Cora E. "Emagene" Stahl, 88 years old of New Centerville passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Emagene was born on January 17, 1937 in Confluence. She is preceded in death by her parents, Abraham and Mary (Trimpey) Folk; brother Frederick W. Folk and son in-law Clarence C. Knopsnyder. Emagene is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, Galen "Cheesie" Stahl and daughters Rebecca (Mark) Reckner -and Amy Knopsnyder. Grandchildren Jenna (Roberto) Lopez, Derrick (Alana) Knopsnyder, Emily (Alena) Weldy and Douglas (Paige) Reckner. Emagene adored her great-grandchildren Liam Knopsnyder, Amelia Spicer, Valentina Lopez, Mateo Lopez, Gabriella Reckner, Addison Reckner and Bailey Reckner who was born on Emagene's 88th birthday. Emagene was 1955 graduate of Rockwood High School. She was a member of the former Casselman UMC church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed taking care of her family and loving her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Emagene will always be remembered for her Christian spirit, kind heart, giving ways and her beautiful smile. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd from 12-2 pm at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset where a service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Edward Myers officiating.
