Craig Ray Knupp, 59, of Somerset, died December 31, 2025 at UPMC Presbyterian. Born March 20 1966 in Somerset, he is the son of the late Jay Wilbur and Audrey Adel (Lantzy) Knupp. Survived by his wife Linda (Mostoller) Popvich to whom he was married 34 years, son Austin Jay Knupp, step-son Nick Popovich and wife Jacque, sisters and brothers Adele Knupp, Tim Knupp and wife Robin, Scott Knupp and wife Linda, Jayne Knupp, and Blane Knupp, also 15 nieces and nephews and 9 great nieces and nephews. Craig was a 1985 graduate of Somerset High School, he worked for Laurel Hill State Park as an equipment operator B, and as a Prescribed Fire Squad Boss for 26 years. He was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Trent Bakersville Lavansville Rod & Gun Club, he was a trustee for the Bakersville Community Grove, Worcestershire Beer Club/'Steak Club, and was a former coach of the Somerset Chill Travel & In House Hockey Team, and the Youth Bakersville Braves Baseball Team. Friends received 1-3 p.m. Wednesday at the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church 190 Mt. Zion Rd. Somerset, PA where a service will immediately follow at 3 p.m. with Reverend Nila Cogan officiating.
