Craig Melvin Stapleton, 73, of Somerset, died October 6, 2023 at UPMC Bedford. Born December 13, 1949 in Roaring Spring, he is the son of Ellis M. and Betty M. (Blattenberger) Stapleton. Preceded in death by his parents, and brother Joseph Stapleton. Survived by his wife the former Jacqueline Shull to whom he was married 52 years, children, David Stapleton, and Jodi Stapleton-Nichols and fiance David Canan all of Somerset, grandchildren: Kyle Stapleton, Edana Johnson and husband Aaron, and Raven Stapleton-Nichols, great-grandchildren: Hadley Kate, Emery Paige, Dominic, Vaeda, and Lila, and sister Venetta Bowersox. Craig was a 1967 graduate of Somerset High School, he worked as a landlord and as a manager for Somerset Commons, he was a member of First Christian Church, VFW, American Legion, and FOE, he was a Harley Davison enthusiast, and collected antique cars.
