Dale Ann Jumet

Dale Ann Jumet, 76 of Somerset, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 9, 2022 at Siemen’s Lakeview Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Somerset, PA.  Preceded in death by adoptive parents Ruth (Shaulis) and Glenn Miller, beloved son-in-law Douglas Miller, biological parents John Thomas Doyle and Marilyn Lorraine Helmick, and biological sister Kelly Farrell and brother-in-law Thomas Farrell.  Survived by husband of 58 years and 4 months Ernest Jumet Jr. and daughters Christine Miller, wife of Douglas Miller (deceased) and Tracey Lyons, wife of Mark Lyons, grandchildren Courtney Raines and husband Matthew, Mackenzie Miller, Austin Lyons, Travis Lyons, and Morgan Lyons and great grandchildren Caiden Lyons, Dawson Lyons, and Reece Lyons, brothers John P. Coons and wife Liz of Lawton, OK, Thomas Morgan and wife Jean of Mechanicsville, MD, and David Morgan and wife Ruth of Mechanicsville, MD, and  numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Dale Ann graduated from Somerset High School in 1963.  She retired from Somerset County Technology Center in 2008 where she worked for 16 years as a Child Accountant and in guidance and student records, and previously employed for 12 years as office manager for Fisher Big Wheel. Her home and family were the most important things in her life; her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her pride and joy.  She enjoyed traveling and spending winters in Florida.  Friends will be received from 12 noon until 1 p.m. on Saturday March 19th, 2022 at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Somerset,  where a service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Michael Dunlap officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Interim Hospice at Mary Grace Foundation, 322 Warren Street, Suite 250, Johnstown, PA 15905.   Arrangements by the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation  Services, Somerset.  To leave a condolence please visit www.haugerzeigler.com
