Dale Franklin Schrock, 85, of Rockwood, died October 30, 2024 at The Patriot. Born August 21, 1939 in Somerset, he is the son of Earl F. and S. Helen (Mingle) Schrock. Preceded in death by his parents, wife the former Naomi Fay Mulhollem, daughter Dawn Janelle Schrock, and sister Carol Ann St. Clair. Survived by his son Brian L. Schrock of Rockwood, grandsons Adam Schrock and wife Jennifer, and Ryan Schrock and fiance Brianna Prolenski, great-grandchildren Natalie and Wesley. Dale was a graduate of Rockwood High School, he worked for Rockwood Insurance, later as a self-employed electrician, later as a mail carrier for USPS, and was co-owner along with his wife of Schrock's Market. He was also a member of Laurel Ridge Sportsmen's, Scullton Rod & Gun Club, Rockwood Rotary, life member of New Centerville Volunteer Fire Department, NRA, and attended Laurel Mt. Chapel. Dale enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading his bible, and taking walks in the woods with his grandson Adam. Friends received 9-11 a.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m, with Reverend Don Judy officiating.
