Della Mae Baumgardner, 84, of Stoystown, died March 2, 2025 at Somerset Health & Rehab. Born October 22, 1940 in Somerset, she is the daughter of Freeman Lawrence and Mayme Ruth (Pyle) Menser. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles William Baumgardner, brother Richard Menser, sisters Dorothy Brant and Lola Weimer, and an infant son Christopher. Survived by her son Steven D. Shaulis and wife Marsha, grandson Logan, and sister Doris Miller. Della was a graduate of Somerset High School, she had worked until her retirement as a clerk for Agway Energy Products. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Buckstown, and enjoyed crocheting, and loved animals. Friends received 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon,. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 12:00 noon. with Reverend Barry Conn officiating. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.
