Dennis Eugene Brant, 73, of Berlin, went to his eternal home on May 19, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family. Born August 13, 1951 in Somerset, he is the son of the late Ernest Henry and Mary Etta (Brant) Brant. Survived by his wife the former Lourdes Marissa Garcia to whom he was married 33 years, sons Roger Brant and wife Missy of Shanksville, Jesse Brant and fiance Jay of Berlin, and Tristan Brant of Windber, grandchildren Brandon Brant and wife Felicia, and Destiny Brant, sisters and brother JoAnn Pritts and husband Harold of Somerset, Denise Kurtz and husband Wayne of Indian Lake, and Mark Brant of Somerset. Dennis was a 1970 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School, he was a US Army veteran of Vietnam. He worked until his retirement as a plant engineer for Snyder's of Berlin with 41 years of service, and was a member of Somerset Christian Fellowship, and American Legion. Friends received 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 10 a.m., Friday with Pastor John Marshall officiating.
