Donald Clark Obituary

Donald Clark, 70, of Somerset, PA, went to be with his Lord on November 27, 2022. Don was born on November 17, 1952 in Punxsutawney, Pa, and grew up in Madera, Pa. He was the son of Alexander "Ike" and Violet (Rainey) Clark. He was preceded in death by his his parents and sister Janet Clark. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years the former, Gay Keith and his beloved children Mary Anne Jordan, Alex (Linette) and Amanda Peck (Steve). Also survived by his sisters Shirley Hescox and Nancy Damico and his brother David and his grandchildren who he loved so much Justin (Julie), Jacob, Luke, Jared, Maeve and Ella and great grandchildren Brooke and Jaxton and step grandchildren Luke and Erica. He also leaves behind his best yorkie friend Max. He was a retired heavy equipment operator, a job he loved. Don loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, flying his drone and going to Florida in the winter. He was grateful to his donor of his single lung transplant that he received in 2015. Because of her, he had seven more years of life. He would encourage anyone reading this to register as an organ donor. We also want to thank the transplant team at UPMC Presbyterian for all they have done for him. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to St Paul's Presbyterian Church mission fund. A celebration of his life will be held at St Paul's Presbyterian Church Somerset, Pa on Saturday December 3, 2022 from 2-3 p.m. with a service to immediately follow at 3 p.m. with Reverend Mike Dunlap officiating.
