Dorothy Eileen Fisher, 78 of Somerset entered the arms of our Lord and Savior, while surrounded by her loving family, at home on August 6th, 2023. Born July 11 1945 in Kingwood, PA. She was the daughter of John Harvey and Mary Ruth Duppstadt (Cramer). She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold Lewis Fisher (2013) to whom she was married to for 48 years; siblings Blair Shuman, Clarence Duppstadt, Eleanor Richards, Mildred Jacobs, Rita Polca; grandchildren Caleb and Tessa Fisher and two additional grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. Survived by children Julia King (Jerry), Angela Langston (Robroy), John Fisher (Kristi Weimer); grandchildren Levi King (Gina), Skylar King (Erin), Alexis King and Asher Fisher; sister Betty Baumgardner, sister-in-laws Marty Duppstadt, Doris Friese (Cecil), Janet Fisher, and Nancy Fisher. Dorothy attended Rockwood High School and Cambria Rowe Business School. She worked for GTE Phone Company for over 20 years, DeVilbiss Healthcare for 15 years, Somerset Chiropractic and Daily American. After retirement she enjoyed treasured moments with her family and grandchildren. She was known for her love and kindness; as well as her delicious homemade bread and cinnamon rolls. She was a member of Kingwood Church of God and attended Somerset Alliance Church. Dorothy battled her last 2 1/2 years with Bile Duct Liver Cancer; the family is forever grateful to In Touch / Family Hospice for the amazing care, love and support that was provided to her during this time.
