Dorothy Yutzy Obituary

Dorothy Elaine Yutzy, 88, of Somerset, died February 13, 2019 at Somerset Hospice House. Born October 7, 1930, in Meyersdale, she is the daughter of Roy E. and Helen (Gnagey) Saylor. Preceded in death by her parents, and daughter Bonnie Lou Yutzy. Survived by her husband Darrell Yutzy to whom she was married 69 years, son Ronald D. Yutzy married to the former Sherry Saylor, grandson Christopher Yutzy and wife Tami, and great-grandchildren: Spencer and Symantha "Sami" all of Somerset, also her caregiver Pauline Ogline. Dorothy was a 1948 graduate of Meyersdale High School, she worked until her retirement as a teller for US Bank, Cambria Saving and later Ameriserv, she was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. No viewing or visitation, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family with Reverend Linda J. McElroy Thomas officiating. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.
