Duane Lohr

Duane "Doc" Lohr, 66, of Somerset, died peacefully surrounded by his family following complications after surgery on December 3, 2022 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born September 3, 1956 in Mt. Pleasant, he is the son of the late W. Dwight and Ruth (Kalp) Lohr. Survived by his wife the former Lisa D. Logan to whom he was married 18 years, children: Sheena Pile and husband Christopher of Somerset, Brandon Lohr and wife Maggie of Silver Spring, MD, Carrie Mostoller of Raleigh, NC, and Courtney Seth and husband Bernie of Johnstown, grandchildren: Deegan and Lochlynn Pile, and Gabriel and Connor Seth, sister and brothers: Sherrie Walsh and husband John of Buckhannon, WV, W. Dwight Lohr of Frametown, WV, and Richard Lohr and wife Audrey of Pittsfield, Mass, nephews: Chris Walsh, Brandon Cale, and Shannon Lohr, and nieces: Adriane Herlihy, Christiane Chambers, Colette Lohr, and Krista Fialli, and his fur baby Tiberius. Duane was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School, IUP, and Palmer Chiropractic College, he worked until his retirement as a self employed chiropractor and was owner and operator of Family Chiropractic Clinic. He was a member of Lodge 358 F&AM, The Society of Creative Anachronism, and The Cussewago Rifles, he loved golfing, boating, fishing, hunting, living history events, and music. Friends received 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. with Reverends David McCall and Barry Ritenour officiating.
