Edward Allen Cox Obituary

Edward Allen Cox, 82, of Berlin, died January 19, 2025 at his home. Born July 26, 1942 in Huntingdon, PA, he is the son of the late Edward William "Bill" and Betty (Gump) Cox. Survived by his wife the former Patricia Ann Goforth to whom he was married 50 years, step-children Ann Marie Kovalchik and husband James of Johnstown, and John Barthol Jr. and wife Diane of Havre, MT, step-grandchildren Robert and Katherine, and brother Warren "Bill" Cox and wife Nancy of Stoystown. Edward was a 1960 graduate of Somerset High School, and worked until his retirement as a manager for the PA Wine & Spirits in Somerset. He was a member of FOE, Sons of American Legion, VFW, New Baltimore Sportsman's Club, and Moose Lodge. Friends received 10-11 a.,m Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Andrew Broucher officiating.
