Edward Elias Miller II, 85, of Sarasota, Fl. and Somerset, Pa, passed away at home October 4, 2021. Born January 1, 1936 in Rockwood, Pa, he is the son of Paul James (PJ) and Edna (McVicker) Miller. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers-in-law H.W. Wheeler and Bob Lochlin. Survived by his wife of 65 years Jeanne Joanne (Young) Miller and his children Christine (Gary) Glessner, Tracy (Peter) Stoltz and Edward (Rebecca) Miller III, six grandchildren, Robert (Jennifer), Jason (Carissa) Glessner, Autumn (Brandon) Hillegas, Derek (Maeve) Stoltz, Casey Miller and Samantha Miller, eight great-grandchildren, Layla, Hanna, Grayson, Emma Glessner, Avery and Isla Hillegas, Freya and Arwen Stoltz, sisters Joan Wheeler, Salley Lochlin and sister-in-law Janie Young plus numerous nieces and nephews. Ed was a 1954 graduate of Rockwood High School. Ed was president of Murdock Enterprises and part owner of Wheeler Brothers Inc. Ed was an avid golfer who once played 212 days in a row and very proud of the feat. Ed loved his cabin in the woods as well as his labradoodles, Kayla and Kasey.
