Edward O'Brien Obituary

Edward Wilson O'Brien, 78, of Somerset, died March 14, 2022 at his home. Born May 27, 1943 in Somerset, he is the son of Elwood Woodrow and Mary Ellen (Pyle) O'Brien. Preceded in death by his parents, and sister Nancy Friedline. Survived by his wife the former Earlene Kay Sechler to whom he was married 57 years, children; Todd O'Brien married to the former Rosalie Kimmel of Rockwood, and Tanya Zehner and husband Kenneth of Somerset, grandchildren; Ashley, Patrick, and Matthew O'Brien, and sister Mary Jane Maust and husband John of Somerset. Ed was a 1961 graduate of Rockwood High School, he worked as owner/operator of O'Brien Farms, he was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, and was a past school board member of Rockwood School District. Friends received 1-3 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Messiah Lutheran Church, Rockwood and from 9-10 a.m. at the church on Saturday where a service will follow at 10 a.m,. with Reverend Lee Gable officiating. Interment New Centerville Union Cemetery.
