Evelyn Marie Larimer

Evelyn Marie Larimer, 91, of Somerset, died July 23, 2022 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital Pittsburgh. Born March 13, 1931 in Edie, she is the daughter of Charles Marcellus and Irene Ethel (St. Clair) Kline. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Eugene Glenn Larimer who died November 6, 2003, and sister Dorothy Kline. Survived by her children; Marsha Kay Nair of Friedens, Pamela S. Gainer and husband Thomas of Lebanon, Lynn Larimer of Confluence, Kenneth E. Larimer married to the former Marci Fochtman, and Jeffrey A. Larimer and girlfriend Robin Close, all of Somerset, grandchildren; Andrea Nair and friend Don, Brad Nair and wife Tracy, Laura Beth Staver, Rebecca and Aaron Gainer, and Scott Larimer, great-grandchildren; Carter, Cecilia, Evelyn, and Lohla, and siblings; Charles Kline and Thelma May both of Somerset. Evelyn was a 1948 graduate of Somerset High School, and a 1951 graduate of Conemaugh School of Nursing, she worked until her retirement as a registered nurse for Somerset Hospital and Siemon's Lakeview Manor. Evelyn was a member of Casebeer Lutheran Church where she had sang in the choir, she enjoyed gardening, canning, knitting, watching baseball and the Steeler's and listening to bluegrass. Friends received 4-7 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, and 10-11 a.m,. Saturday at Casebeer Lutheran Church where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Vicar Allen Stump officiating. Interment Casebeer Cemetery.
