Freeman Ray Weible, 82, of Somerset died July 3, 2023 at Meyersdale Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born April 8, 1941 in Hooversville, he is the son of Raymond and Carrie (Clark) Weible. Preceded in death by his parents, son Ryan Matthew Weible, and sisters, Fay Becker, and Dorothy Ann Weible. Survived by his wife the former Linda Lee Robertson to whom he was married 57 years, children: Rebecca Weible and spouse Nancy Scarton of Johnstown, and Robert Weible and wife Heather of Monroeville, also nieces, Cynthia Duerring, and Sally Becker. Freeman was a graduate of Forbes High School, Juniata College, and received his masters from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He worked until his retirement as a school teacher for Shanksvillle-Stonycreek High School, and worked weekends for the Turnpike North/South Exchange. Freeman was a member of NEA, PSEA, NCTM, and enjoyed golfing. Friends received 2-5 p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, the funeral service will be private. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.
