Gary Dwayne Benning, 66, of Rockwood, died September 21, 2020 at his home. Born November 4, 1953 in Meyersdale, he is the son of Merle Eugene and Bertha Marie (Mull) Benning. Preceded in death by his parents, and brothers: Richard, Ernest, Donald, and William Benning. Survived by his sisters and brother: Darlene F. Maule of Rockwood, Earl C. Benning and wife Gayle of St. Paul, and Bertha Watson of Berlin, and numerous nieces and nephews. Gary was a graduate of Rockwood High School, he worked for over 30 years for Somerset Door and Column where he retired. Friends received 9-11 a.m Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Reverend Donald Judy officiating.
