Gloria Ann Coleman Obituary

Together Again

Gloria Ann (Eicher) Coleman, 92, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, passed peacefully and surrounded

by love, on November 25, 2025 at Sunrise Senior Living Community.

Born and raised in Somerset, PA, she lived in the Akron area for the past 70 years in Ellet,

Manchester/New Franklin, and most recently in Cuyahoga Falls. Early on she was a secretary at

the South Akron Awning Company and then a bookkeeper for her nephew, Lenny, at Lenny's

Collision Center. The jobs she was best at, however, were wife, homemaker, mother,

grandmother, and great grandmother.

She had loved being a Girl Scout leader, was an excellent seamstress, piano player, and had

faithfully served the Lord through her work with her church family at Bethany Lutheran Church,

where she had been a 59-year member. She was also a member of The Somerset Historical

Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jennings William Coleman in 1999 and her brother,

Paul Eicher.

Gloria is survived by her son, Barry (Kay) of Troy, Ohio; daughter, Beverly (Al) Stefanov of

Silver Lake; brother, James (Virginia) Eicher of Clinton; grandchildren, Lyndsay, Rory, Kyle,

Aaron, Ariel, Lexi, Kirsten, Gillianne, Sam, Anya, Lizzy, Chloe, Genna and Aidan; great

grandchildren, Ava, Jay, Rhett, Ty, Finn, and Baby Steiger on the way in January 2026; and

many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and friends.

Thank you to Dr. Gayomali and the exceptional staff of Summa Health 5 th Floor, Bath Creek

Estates, Town Square Hospice, and Sunrise Senior Living Community for their love and care of

mom.
