Goldie Mae Ohler

Goldie Mae Ohler, 91, of Somerset, died February 25, 2025 at her home. Born September 30, 1933 in Somerset, she is the daughter of Roy Henry and Mary Augusta (Beck) Shaulis. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold Franklin "Muzz" Ohler, son Bryan Ohler, grandson Michael Ohler, brothers Luther and Clyde Shaulis, sisters Grace Carey, Mary Barron, Ruby Rock, Gladys and Garnet Shaulis. Survived by her children Kim E. Ritter and Mark A. Ohler and wife Deb, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Goldie was a graduate of Somerset High School, and Allegheny College, she worked for the Somerset Hospital as a EKG and EEG technician, then worked for Dr. Limcaundo where she retired at the age of 82. She loved bingo, casinos, and went on many bus trips with Sienna Davis. With her friends she enjoyed yard sales, and visiting antique stores. She enjoyed eating out and going for ice cream with her family and good friend Patty Barchey. Goldie loved and had numerous cats and dogs throughout her life. Friends received 12:00 noon- 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 4 p.m with Reverend Josh Spangler officiating.
