Grace Ann Shoffstall

Grace Ann Shoffstall, 92, of Somerset, died December 26, 2021 at The Heritage at Siemon's. Born November 7, 1929 in Lewistown, she is the daughter of Joseph and Jennie (Bitner) Ard. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Myron L. Shoffstall, brother Arthur E. "Bill" Ard, and sisters; Mary Jane Ard, Nancy Fleisher, Carol Reed, and Virginia Haines. Survived by her son, Douglas J. Shoffstall of Somerset and his fiance Paula Dugan of Pittsburgh, grandchildren; Grant and Kendra Shoffstall, and former daughter-in-law Heather Shoffstall, also sister Joyce Fox of Middletown, and many nieces and nephews. Grace was a graduate of Tuscarora Valley High School, her husband was a co-founder of Woodland Campsites in 1968, and Grace was owner and operator of the campsite from 1978-2019. She enjoyed riding around in her golf cart visiting campers and doing crafting and painting in the winters. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m Tuesday January 4th, 2022 at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday January 5, 2022 with Reverend Andrew Brougher officiating.
