Harold Ray Meyers

Harold Ray Meyers Sr. 88, of Friedens, died August 8, 2020 at his home. Born December 2, 1931 in Friedens, he is the son of Frank B. and Emma J. (Day) Meyers Sr. Preceded in death by his parents, wife the former Nancy Jean Gardner who died January 16, 1991, daughter-in-law Sun Hwa Meyers, granddaughter Sara Meyers, and step-granddaughter In Sun Cooper. Survived by children: Deborah Gursky and husband Robert of Friedens, David L. Meyers married to the former Vonnie Mowry of Somerset, and Harold R. Meyers Jr. of Friedens, grandchildren: Dustin Gursky and fiance Lauren Butler of Friedens, Heather Ream and husband Joshua of Listie, Adam Meyers and girlfriend Jessica Dice, Seth Meyers and wife Morgan, Michael Meyers and girlfriend Sara Davis all of Somerset, step grandson In Sok Powell of North Carolina, great-granddaughters: Emma, Madison, and Hayley, and step-great-grandsons: Joseph and Angelo, also survived by his brother Frank B. Meyers Jr. of Berlin. Harold is a US Navy Veteran of Korea, he worked until his retirement as a truck driver for Shaffer Block, he also enjoyed gardening and woodworking. Due to current health concerns visitation and service will be privately held Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.
