Harvey George Brant Sr., 82, of Somerset, died May 30, 2018 at his home. Born August 11, 1935, he is the son of Emerson Harry and Thelma Alverda (Romesburg) Brant. Preceded in death by his parents, and wife the former Eleanor Ann Carlson who died January 13, 2013. Survived by his children; Anna Smith and husband Sylvester of Tampa, FL, Harvey G. Brant Jr. married to the former Rhonda Bucy of Berlin, and Carla Brant of Somerset, 9 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, sisters; Viola Krupper and husband Joseph of Acosta, Anna Sipple and husband C. Leroy of Friedens, Elizabeth Jane Baglio and husband Michael of Ebensburg, and Nancy Miller of Somerset. Harvey was a veteran of the US National Guard, he worked until his retirement with 48 years of service as a clerk and meat cutter for the former Edgewood Market, he was also a member of FOE Aerie 1801. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset where a service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday with Reverend J.
