Herbert McKinley Wilkins Jr.

Herbert McKinley "Rusty" Wilkins Jr. 73 of Somerset, died August 14, 2021 at his home.  Born October 18, 1947 in Johnstown, he is the son of Herbert McKinley and Marian June (Rummel) Wilkins Sr.  Preceded in death by his parents, and brother Ricky Wilkins.  Survived by his wife the former Dianna L. Bonadio to who he was married 49 years, children: Teresa Sipe and husband Jamie of Somerset, Stephen Wilkins and wife Joelle of Topsham, ME, Andrea Beabes and husband Justin of Cicero, NY, Amy Baer and husband Seth of Boca Raton, FL, and Alicia Wilkins of Somerset, grandchildren: Vaunte Epps and wife Kierstyn, Angelea Taylor, Victoria Sipe, Rusty, John, Annie, and Mack Wilkins, Ellison Baer, and Kaylie May, great-granddaughter, Navee, and brother Claude W. "Dusty" Wilkins and wife Carol of Boswell.  Rusty was a 1965 graduate of JBJ High School, he was a US Marine Corps Veteran serving in Vietnam, he worked until his retirement as an electrician for Miller Picking Inc. where he retired with 28 years of service, and was a member of VFW, and Jenner Rod and Gun Club.  Rusty enjoyed reading, hunting and fishing, and the outdoors, and spending time with his family.  No viewing or visitation, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family.  Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Peter's Catholic School 433 W.
