Izora Louise Miller, 98, of Hancock, MD, formerly of Somerset, died January 29, 2026 at Brookdale Assisted Living, Hagerstown, MD. Born August 21, 1927 in Haddenville, PA, she is the daughter of Arthur and Lillie Bell (Miner) McDowell. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Steward Russell Miller, brothers Joseph and Leroy McDowell and sisters Gladys Varndell, Martha Cook, Dorothy Fisher, Mildred Martin, and Lillian Soloman. Survived by her children Dara Villani (Vince) and Russell Miller (Donna), grandchildren Jonathan Loiselle (Faith), Chris Loiselle (Sara), Matthew Kime, Jennifer Hodson (Ryan), and Bryce Miller (Natalie), also numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Izora was a member of the Hancock United Methodist Church and the Hancock Lioness Club. Friends received 10-11 a.m. Tuesday February 3, 2026 at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m, with Reverend Dr. Jennifer Hodson officiating.
