J. Brian Miller Obituary

J. Brian Miller, 75, of Somerset, died December 25, 2021 at his home. Born March 21, 1946 in Greensburg, he is the son of Frank E. and Leone B. (Beacom) Miller. Preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Frank B. Miller. Survived by his wife the former Trudy Ann Rhodes to whom he was married 29 years, step-children: Michelle Moon and husband William, B. Martin Petrosky and wife Heidi, and Michael R. Petrosky and wife Danielle all of Somerset, grandchildren who were the light of his life: , Mariya, Kai, Felicity Petrosky, and Miranda Frazier and husband Brian, great-grandchildren: Mya and Bowe Frazier, and sister Beverly Hixon. Brian was a 1964 graduate of Uniontown Area High School, and a graduate of St. Vincent College, he was a US Army Veteran of Vietnam. Brian worked until his retirement as service director for InSinkErator. He was a member of Samuel's Lutheran Church, the sportsman's clubs of Kennells Mills, and New Baltimore. American Legion. FOE, and a lifetime member of NRA. He was an avid hunter, and trap shooter, and at some point he had owned every generation of Corvette ever made. Friends received 9-11 a.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Reverend Lee Gable officiating. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park. Military rites accorded by the Somerset County Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Samuel's Lutheran Church c/o the Rockwood Parish PO Box 126 Rockwood, PA 15557.
