James Joseph Harris, 69, of Somerset, died May 2, 2024 at his home. Born November 23, 1954 in Johnstown. He is the son of the late James C. and Elizabeth "Betty" (Sellman) Harris. Survived by his wife the former Connie L. Peterson, daughter Kaleina Craig of Daphne, Alabama, step-children, Tammy Kreger and husband Terry, Robin Means and husband Joel, and Kenneth Fisher, grandson Coby Craig, step-grandchildren, Justin Kreger and wife Mandy, Brock Fisher, Lilly and Max Means, step-great-grandchildren, Calvin and Owen Kreger, sister, Patricia Banko and husband Don of New Florence and her children, Bill Schultz, Melinda Ryan, and Amy Goldsmith and husband Josh, also special cousin Joyce Radovanic and husband Marty. Jim was a 1972 graduate of Bishop McCort High School, and a graduate of UPJ. He worked until his retirement as owner/operator of the former Riverside Market in Somerset, and was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. No viewing or visitation a funeral mass will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset, with Father Angelo Patti Celebrant. Entombment Grandview Cemetery.
