James Lynn Mix, 66, of Somerset, died June 14, 2025 at his home. Born March 15, 1959 in Renovo, PA, he is the son of Paul Allen and Mary J. (Matthews) Mix. Preceded in death by his parents, and wife the former Charlotte Ruth Faidley. Survived by his sons Michael Reed and wife Rhonda of Somerset, Mark Reed and wife Tammy of Blairsville, and Jamie Reed and wife Tanica of Berlin, 12 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren and sisters Donna Levad and husband Doug of Colorado, and Darlene Mix of South Carolina. Jim was a member of VFW, American Legion, and FOE. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 11 a.m,.
