James Leonard Rice Sr. , 62, of Rockwood, died April 29, 2024 at his home. Born January 23, 1962 in he is the son of Carl Leonard and L. Jean (Cameron) Rice Jr. Preceded in death by his parents wife the former Linda Ludden and sister Kathy King. Survived by his children, James L. Rice Jr. of Garrett, and Andrea Rice of Somerset, grandchildren: Wyatt Rice, Draven Clark, Candra and Camrin Hay, and Jaxyn Charlton, sister Marjorie Vinzani and husband Benedict of Somerset, and brother Timothy Rice and wife Diane of Florida. Jim was a 1980 graduate of Somerset High School, and a US Navy Veteran. A service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday May 11, 2024 at First Methodist Church, Somerset. . Interment Highland Cemetery.
