Jane Lucille "Lucy" Brant, 85, of Friedens, died July 21, 2022 at Bridgeville Rehab-Care Center, Bridgeville, PA. Born May 14, 1937 in Somerset, she is the daughter of Russell I and Anna Mae (Barndt) Hochard. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Dale Harold Brant who died June 25, 1990. Survived by her children; Craig D. Brant (Gail) of Toledo, OH, Tammy J. Brant (Michael McGrath) of Coraopolis, granddaughter Angela King (Justin), brothers; William E. Hochard of Ravenna, OH, and Edward E. Hochard (Eva) of Pittsburgh. Jane was a 1955 graduate of Somerset High School, she worked until her retirement as an auditor for Somerset Trust Company, she was a member of Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church, and loved cooking, gardening, playing cards and games, and spending time with family and friends. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, and 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m, with Vicar Allen Stump officiating.
