Jane Leloa Gardner, 87, of Boswell, died November 1, 2025 at Somerset Senior Living. Born July 5, 1938 in Johnstown, she is the daughter of Ted Truman and LaVerne Eloise (Slagle) Brant. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Ernest Frankilin Gardner, brother Eugene Brant, and an infant daughter. Survived by her children Jan M. Baker and Ernest Gardner Jr. and wife Lottie all of Gray, grandchildren Heather (Ryan) Conway, Jolyn (Bern) Gontis, Casey (Sara) Gardner, and Cody (Jeremy) Gardner, great-grandchildren Hadley, Luke, Christian, and Laiken, sister Judith Ann Gordon and husband Robert, and Ted Brant and wife Ginger. Jane was a 1956 graduate of JBJ High School, she worked until her retirement as a cook for The Patriot, and many camps. She was also a member of Somerset Alliance Church. Friends received 10-11 a.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Reverend Donald Robson officiating.
