Jeffrey Allen Smith, 56, of Somerset, died October 12, 2025 at his home. Born July 19, 1969 in Somerset, he is the son of William Ray and Ruth Elaine (Ream) Smith. Preceded in death by his father. Survived by his mother of Somerset, companion May DiAndrea, of Somerset, son Zachary Hoffman and wife Martha of Somerset, grandsons Liam, Elijah, Ethan, and Aticus, sisters and brothers Kimi Mostoller and husband Kevin of Friedens, David Smith and wife Melissa of Shanksville, Gary Smith and wife Jolene,of Somerset, and Sondra Smith-Wagner and husband Benjamin of Friedens. Jeff was a 1988 graduate of Somerset High School, and had previously worked for Fleetwood Folding Trailers. Jeff enjoyed working on cars and was a "Jack of all trades". A memorial service will occur 11 a.m. Wednesday October 22, 2025 at the Living Hope Church, Somerset, with Pastor Roy Burkett officiating. Interment Edie Cemetery.
