JoAnn Fay Weimer, 89, of Somerset, died March 27, 2025 at her home. Born April 6, 1935 in Connellsville, she is the daughter of Joseph H. and Pauline (Lancaster) Tissue. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles Albert "Bud" Weimer, step-mother the former Virginia Pirl. Survived by her children; Gregory L. Gohn and wife Rose of Scottdale, Dixie L. Eisler and husband Gary of Somerset, Sharon A. Sarver and husband Daniel of Confluence, Audie A. Weimer, and Timothy J. Weimer and wife Cheryl all of Somerset, grandchildren; Jasen and Jeffrey Gohn, Katherine Kolar, Angela Sarver, Jereme Sarver, Kizzie Sanner, Amanda Boggio, Ian Weimer, Cassie Wright, and Chelsey Svonavec, great-grandchildren; Aidan, Maddox, Paelyn, Canaan, Alexis, Daniel, Ada, Addley, Amya, and Walker, also sister and brothers Beverly Diehl, Grant, Daniel, Raymond, William Dale, and Dwight Tissue. JoAnn was a graduate of Uniontown High School, she has worked as a medical receptionist for Shinholt's Chiropractic Clinic, and later for Drabish West End Laundry. She was a member of the Appalachian Wagon Train, and Milford Global Methodist Church. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Milford Global Methodist Church, Somerset, and from 9-10 a.m. Thursday where a service will immediately follow at 10 a.m. with Reverend Douglas Burns officiating.
