Joan Elfrieda Snyder

Joan Elfrieda Snyder, 92, of Somerset, died January 20, 2021, at Laurel View Village, Davidsville, born July 3, 1928 in Pittsburgh, she is the daughter of Anthony Paul and Bernice (Mohr) Good. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Duane Clouser Snyder who died April 9, 2007, and brother A. Paul Good Jr. Survived by her children: Diane R. Smith and husband Ronald of Pittsburgh and Dale B. Snyder married to the former Andra M. MacBeth of Somerset, grandchildren: Michelle Polaski and husband Michael, Cheryl Deichert and husband Evan, Anne Snyder and Elizabeth Snyder, great-grandchildren: Maura, Leah, Michael, and Connor. Joan was a 1946 graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School, also a graduate of Penn State University where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Somerset Welfare League, and was a past board member of the Mary S. Biesecker Library. A private service will be conducted on Sunday with Reverend J. Matthew Deal officiating with interment at Somerset County Memorial Park. The family would like to invite friends and family to a public reception on Sunday at 12 noon at the Somerset Country Club.
