Joseph John Crimone, 77, of Somerset, died June 20, 2021 at Somerset Hospice House. Born May 23, 1944 in Somerset, he is the son of Russell Carl "Ratsy" and Virginia (Barbera) Crimone. Preceded in death by his parents, and brother Samuel M. Crimone. Survived by his loving former wife Victoria (Furman) Crimone of Somerset, sons; Joseph J. Crimone II of Phoenixville, Russell C. Crimone of Denver, CO, Justin E. Crimone of Pittsburgh, and Nicholas A. Crimone and wife Christine of Somerset, grandchildren; Dante, Marlowe, Gauge, and Bella, and sister-in-law Mary Fran Crimone of Potomac, MD. Joe was a 1963 graduate of Somerset High School, and a graduate of the California State Teachers College, he worked as a math teacher for Somerset and Rockwood Schools, and along with his parents at Ratsy's Restaurant and later as owner/operator of Cafe Fratelli. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, and loved golfing, playing pool, and classic cars. Friends received 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, a funeral mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Father Angelo Patti Celebrant.
