Kathryn Idella Miller

Kathryn I. Miller, 94, of Somerset, passed away September 21, 2021 at Siemon's Lakeview Manor. Born April 13, 1927 in Somerset, she is the daughter of Anthony and Grace (Hershberger) Miller. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Ernest D. Miller who died January 11, 1990, and brothers Edward, Harry, and John. Survived by her sister, Mary Berkey of Vineland, NJ; sons: Richard Miller and wife Barbara, Kenneth Miller and close friend Erin Hoover, grandchildren: Carrie (Craig) Webreck, Jennifer (Chris) McCreary, Richard (Chelsey) Miller Jr., Wendy (Nick) Hoffman, and 12 great-grandchildren. Kathryn was a graduate of Rockwood High School, and Waynesburg College. She was a member of Samuel's Lutheran Church, where she was active in LCW, choir, and Sunday School; she was also, a lifelong member of Laurel Ridge Sportsman's Association, where she served on the women's auxiliary. She was an avid baseball fan, bird watcher, reader, and was devoted to faith and family. She will be sadly missed. No viewing or visitation, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family with Reverend Susan Winger officiating. Interment Samuel's Lutheran Cemetery.
