Kimberly Jean Younkin Obituary

Kimberly Jean Younkin, 58, of Somerset, died August 19, 2021 at her home.  Born April 2, 1963 in Meyersdale, she is the daughter of Paul Edgar and Dorothy Elaine (Swindell) Scheffel.  Preceded in death by her grandson-in-law Joseph Baker.  Survived by her parents of Somerset, husband Mark William Younkin to whom she was married 39 years, children: Amanda Burnsworth and husband Eric, Mark Younkin Jr. all of Somerset, Renee Emerick and husband James of Markleton, grandchildren: Jessica, Brady, Damien, Christian, Cody, and Aleah, great-grandchildren; Ayden, Elijah, Carson, and Mayson, and brother Jeffrey Scheffel of Tallahassee, FL.  Kim was a 1981 graduate of Rockwood High School, she had worked as a housekeeper for 7 Springs Resort and Quality Inn, and was a member of Somerset Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren.  Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, where a service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor Stephen Zirkle officiating.  Interment Highland Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers you can make contributions to meet the needs of the family.  To leave a condolence please visit www.haugerzeigler.com
