Lester Adam Brunell, 95, of Somerset, died July 24, 2023 at The Patriot. Born April 9, 1928 in Ralphton, he is the son of Julius Brunell and Jennie Paula (Ferre) Underwood. Preceded in death by his parents, and brother Albert D. Brunell and his wife Barbara. Survived by nieces and nephew: Annette Isgan and husband Sean, Deana Fleegle and husband David, and David Brunell and wife Evangline all of Somerset, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, and special cousin Beth Ott. Lester was a 1946 graduate of Somerset High School, He was a US Airforce Veteran Retired, holding the rank of Master Sergeant. He was a member of the Somerset County Conservancy where he had served as secretary, a member of the Archaeological Society, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Friends received 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m, with Father Aron Maghsoudi officiating. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Somerset County Conservancy 6024 Glades Pike # 103, Somerset, PA 15501.
