Lois Lafferty Obituary

Lois Ann Lafferty, 83, of Somerset, died March 5, 2022 at her daughter's home in Somerset. Born November 2, 1938 in East Liverpool, OH. She is the daughter of Earl S. and Bertha C. (Bailey) Duke. Preceded in death by her parents, husband William Eugene Lafferty who died July 15, 2014, step-son Roger E. Lafferty Sr. and step-grandson Roger E. Lafferty Jr. Survived by her daughters: Patricia Stahl and husband David, Ann Clowser and companion Todd Turner, Brenda Lafferty and husband Dennis Glebe, grandchildren: William Stahl, Heather Paugh and husband Jason, Nora Yoder and boyfriend Kenny Penrod, Dennis Glebe and wife Jayce, Alyssa Sutton and companion Jaime Paz, Josh Glebe, Daniel Sutton, Jeffrey Clowser, Jeffany Lavan and husband Bryan, Amy Lafferty, Michele Gilbert and husband Dave, Brandon Turner, and Brooke Turner, also numerous great-grandchildren, and sister Barbara Durst and husband James. Lois worked until her retirement with 52 years of service, as a registered nurse for Children's Hospital, Somerset Hospital and Siemon's Lakeview Manor. She was a member of Center Church of the Brethren, Farm Women's, Crotchet Guild, and she taught crocheting for the Senior Center. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday with Reverend Homer Painter officiating. Interment Bakersville Cemetery.
