Lois Marie Williams, 78, of Somerset, died December 2, 2021 at Siemon's Lakeview Manor. Born February 27, 1943 in Waterside, PA, she is the daughter of Ralph Ernest and Erma (Dick) Detwiler. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Carl and James Detwiler, and sisters; Nancy Hopper, and Mary Hotnisky. Survived by her husband Roger Griffith Williams to whom she was married 54 years, children; Jerrold Willliams, Jeannette Landis and husband Steve, and Marc Williams and girlfriend Faithe McHattie, and granddaughter Kara Landis, also survived by her sisters; Naomi Detwiler, Eva Mae Zelem, and Susan Geist. Lois was a 1962 graduate of Central High School in Martinsburg, and a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she received her B.S. in Education. She worked as a Home Economics teacher for various schools, and was also a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, PSEA, and enjoyed quilting, sewing, reading, and doing crossword puzzles. Friends received 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, and from 10-11 a.m. Monday at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, Friedens where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Reverend James T.
