Lola Jean Weimer, 88, of Somerset, died June 4, 2024 Born November 8, 1935 in Somerset she is the daughter of Freeman Lawrence and Mayme Ruth (Pyle) Menser. Preceded in death by her parents, husband John Harvey Weimer, daughter Lori Jean Conn, sister Dorothy Brant, and brother Richard Menser. Survived by her daughter Lisa Tipton and husband Joel of Listie, son-in-law Reverend Barry Conn of Somerset, 8 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren, sisters Doris Miller of Somerset, and Della Baumgardner of Shanksville. Lola was a graduate of Somerset High School, she had worked as a secretary for Somerset High School, at a local bank, and Fisher Big Wheel, and she and her husband owned and operated Allegheny Coffee Service for many years. She was a loving and hard working wife and mother, she was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, loved cats, was an avid reader, cared for the wild birds, and loved talking on the phone with her sisters. Lola will be greatly missed by her family. The family would like to thank Stacy, her mail lady for her visits, kindness, and concern. They also would like to thank the kind and caring people at ViaQuest Hospice, and the wonderful staff at The Patriot for their kindness and daily care. No viewing or visitation a private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.
