Lori Lynn Short, 51, of Front Royal, VA, formerly of Shanksville, and Listie, died March 4, 2021 at Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal. Born January 29, 1970 in Meyersdale. She is the daughter of Shirley L. (Foy) Trent. Preceded in death by her step father Richard D. Trent Sr. and brother Richard D. Trent Jr. Survived by her mother of Somerset, husband Paul W. Short, and children Jacob Short and wife Ava of Clarksville, TN,, and Carrie Short at home, also brother Dale Foy and wife Becky of Rockwood. Lori was a 1988 graduate of Shanksville-Stonycreek High School, she had been working for Northwestern Community Services, and was a volunteer with the Skyline Football Boosters. Friends received 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, PA where a service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Reverend Dr. Arthur Gotjen officiating.Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.
