Lorraine Knepper, 69, of Friedens, died June 12, 2023 at UPMC Altoona. Born November 27, 1953 in Meyersdale, she is the daughter of Jesse W. and Mary Ellen (Morrison) Kemp. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Guy G. Knepper who died April 23, 2009, brother Donald Kemp, and sister Marlene Woods. Survived by her daughter Tracy Henry of Somerset, granddaughter Ashley Henry and fiance Jonathan Kimura of Hawaii, and brother Wilbert Kemp of Confluence. Lorraine was a graduate of Turkeyfoot High School, she worked as an LPN for the Somerset State Hospital and later as a corrections officer for SCI Laurel Highlands where she retired. She was a member of the American Legion in Somerset, and enjoyed doing nails and decorating. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday with Reverend Roger Howard officiating.
