Louise Kay Pritts, 77, of Somerset, died August 15, 2024 at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born August 15, 1947 in Somerset, she is the daughter of Wilbur "Dutch" and Gertrude Irene (Mason) Lape. Preceded in death by her parents, first husband Timothy Shaffer, second husband William Wolk, sons Dennie Shaffer and Jeffrey Wolk, sister Lavina Marie Mull, brother R. Alan Lape, and an infant brother Dick Lape. Survived by her husband Larry Pritts, children Barry Shaffer and wife Tammy, and Diane Miller and husband Jeff all of Rockwood, grandchildren Brittany and Joshua Shaffer and Kylin McDevitt, great-grandson Bentlee Ohler, and sisters Judy Friedline, Denise Wolk and husband Thomas, and Daryl Marker. Louise had a daycare for 18 years, she enjoyed drawing, coloring, photography, writing letters, spotting deer with her husband,and loved her dog Penny. Friends received 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Reverend Kathy Hay officiating.
