Marcia N. Ruisi

Marcia N. Ruisi, 82, of Somerset, died August 25, 2022 at her home. Born September 26, 1939 in Batavia, NY, she is the daughter of Floyd and Ethel (Brodt) Nesbitt. Preceded in death by her parents, brother Ronald Nesbitt and son-in-law Brian Shafer. Survived by her daughters; Roberta Shafer-Stallings and husband Gary of Cresaptown, MD, and Jennifer Ruisi and partner Rino Dell'Osa of Conway, SC, granddaughter Jolene Shafer of Cresaptown, MD, nephew Alan Nesbitt and wife Greta, and niece Sherri Nesbitt. Marcia was a 1957 graduate of Batavia High School, she attended Buffalo State University, and later Mount Aloysius College where she was a member of the Zeta Delta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society, she was also a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Glen Savage. Friends received 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Glen Savage where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Reverend Kyle Mullins officiating.
