Marian Virginia Walker, 95, of Somerset, died May 15, 2025. Born April 29, 1930 in Akron, OH, she is the daughter of Wendling Francis and Mary Ethel (Miller) Davies. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Herbert Charles Walker, daughter Nancy Czernecki, brother James Davies, and sister Joyce Twigg. Survived by her children Thomas Walker and wife Brenda, Daniel Walker and wife Dawn all of Stoystown, Michael Walker of Somerset, Gerald Walker, and Laura Miller and husband Douglas all of Berlin, 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, brother and sisters Donald Lee Davies, Elizabeth Norris, Phyllis Jenkins, and Jane Mackley. Marian was a graduate of Beall High School in Frostburg, MD, and a graduate of the Maryland Medical Secretarial School. She worked as a medical secretary for Dr. Musser and Dr. Jacob's, and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, and Order of Eastern Star Chapter 138. Marian was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Friends received 10-11 a.m Saturday May 24, 2025 at Faith Lutheran Church, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Reverend Kathleen Stump officiating.
