Mary Jane Eichorn Obituary

Mary Jane Eichorn, 98, of Aldie, VA formerly of Somerset and Ligonier, died July 10, 2023 at her daughters home in Aldie, VA. Born August 9, 1924 in Addison Township, she is the daughter of Isaac William and Cora Ella (Folk) Maust. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Clyde Elwood Eichorn who died March 7, 2014, brothers, Vernon, Karl, and Walter Maust, and sister Ruth Durst. Survived by daughters: Bonnie Rice and husband Carl, Wanda Duquette and husband Richard, Elaine Blank and husband William, and Linda Dluzyn and husband David, grandchildren: Tara Bejines and husband Gabe, Heather Lew and husband Micah, Benjamin Blank, Maggie Blank Dunning and husband Ben, Matthew Maravas, Andrew Maravas and fiance Elise Leonard, and Stefan Maravas, great-grandchildren: Ethan and Madison Bejines, Hudsyn and Landen Lew, Reagan and Robert Dunning, and Charlotte Maravas. Mary was a member of the Ligonier First Church of the Brethren, Roof Garden Homemakers, a charter member of the Wheelers and Dealers Square Dance Club, and was a Somerset County 4-H leader for 18 years. Friends received 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset, where a service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m Saturday with Reverend Linda Stoner officiating.
